3 WIGTOWN COMMON GOOD FUND : FORECAST OUTTURN 2014-15 AND FINANCIAL PLAN 2015-16 - REPORT BY HEAD OF FINANCE.

Decision

 

NOTED

3.1     that no grants had been awarded in 2014/15;

3.2     that a transfer of £10,560 had been received from the John Beddie Fund in 2014/15;

3.3     that a surplus of £10,598 would be recorded for 2014/15;

3.4     that the free income available for grants for 2015/16 was expected to be in the region of £83;

AGREED

3.5     in principle, to use £598 from the John Beddie Fund for free income for 2015/16 and to invest £10,000 into capital and to request how and where these funds will be invested for the next meeting;

3.6     to request information from Property Services as to whether the Wigtown Bowling Club Pavillion was part of the Common Good Fund and whether a lease was in place and to request information from Legal Services on the cost of receiving an Extract of Title Deeds for this property if we do not have them.

4.1     that a grant of £500 had been made in 2014/15;

4.2     that a surplus of £1,152 would be recorded for 2014/15; and

4.3     that free income available for grants for 2015/16 was expected to be in the region of £1,652.
