4 CHIEF SOCIAL WORK OFFICERS ANNUAL REPORT 2016-17 - REPORT BY HEAD OF SOCIAL WORK/CHIEF SOCIAL WORK OFFICER

CONSIDERED and NOTED the performance of the Social Work Service in respect of key duties and responsibilities for which the Chief Social Work Officer has overall responsibility for in particular FURTHER NOTING the implications and impact of health and social care integration on the roles and responsibilities and governance arrangements for delivering social work services, and with regard to how consultations are undertaken, RECOGNISING that the professional advice of social work services would continue to challenge and advise as appropriate; and FURTHER NOTED the need to raise the profile of the work undertaken through community payback orders.
