4.1    the performance report for Dumfries and Galloway from Police Scotland for the period 1 April 2017 to 28 February 2018 as detailed in the Appendix to the report; and

 

4.2    that Police Scotland had agreed to provide a report on the utilisation of armed officers in Dumfries and Galloway for the next meeting of this Sub Committee.

5 SCOTTISH FIRE AND RESCUE SERVICE DUMFRIES AND GALLOWAY LOCAL PLAN 9 MONTH PERFORMANCE UPDATE: 1 APRIL 2017 - 31 DECEMBER 2017 - REPORT BY DIRECTOR COMMUNITIES

NOTED the performance report for Dumfries and Galloway from the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service for the period 1 April 2017 to 31 December 2017 as detailed in the Appendix to the report.

6 DUMFRIES AND GALLOWAY COUNCIL RESPONSE TO THE SCOTTISH FIRE AND RESCUE SERVICE CONSULTATION ON TRANSFORMATION OF THE SERVICE - REPORT BY DIRECTOR COMMUNITIES

Decision

 

AGREED the Dumfries and Galloway response to the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service as detailed in Appendix 1 to the report as amended to reflect that Council would wish a minimum of four dedicated rural officers to cover the four areas of our large rural region.
