5.1 the Lochmaben Mens Shed Business Plan, as detailed in Appendix 1 of the report, for the community asset transfer of the former Community Payback workshop, Kirk Lane, Lockerbie;
5.2 the options available to the Council as described at paragraph 3.15 of the report; and
5.3 AGREED to Option 2 as detailed as follows : Agree to recommend to Policy and Resources Committee that a community asset transfer be made to the Trust for a nominal sum, with the condition that the required capital funding for the project is secured by a certain date. Given the content of the business plan at appendix 1, a date of 1st of April 2018 would appear to be reasonable;
5.4 clarification that Buildings Insurance would transfer to the applicant on transfer of the asset;
5.5 that consideration be given to changing the name to Lockerbie and Lochmaben Mens shed to encourage members from both Lockerbie and Lochmaben communities; and
5.6 that in the event of the organisation folding, ownership of the property would revert to the Common Good.
