4 ANNAN COMMON GOOD FUND - UPDATE ON SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH ON HAAF NETTING AND COMPENSATION FOR LOSS OF FISHING LICENCES - REPORT BY HEAD OF CUSTOMER SERVICES

AGREED

 

4.1     to submit  the compensation claim in the report  to Marine Scotland for loss of fishing rights; and

   

4.2     that  Annan Common Good participate in scientific research and remitted to the Service Manager Area Framework to include research as a condition of licence and report to this sub- committee as the detail of this research is clarified.

 

5 ANNAN COMMON GOOD FUND - ASSETS UPDATE - REPORT BY HEAD OF CUSTOMER SERVICES

Decision

 

5.1     NOTED  the Annan Common Good assets contained in Appendix 1 of the report; and

 

5.2     REQUESTED that Strategic Property Services make further investigations into the status of Annan Common Good Assets and attend a future meeting to report on their findings and clarify any properties where the title remains uncertain; and

 

5.3     REMITTED to the Service Manager Area Framework to bring a future report on options for the use of these assets to generate income.

6 ANNAN COMMON GOOD FUND - ASSET REPAIRS QUAY, ANNAN HARBOUR - REPORT BY HEAD OF CUSTOMER SERVICES

Decision

 

6.1     AGREED  any urgent  health and safety repairs  until such time as Economy, Environment and Infrastructure have reported on the current status of Annan Harbour and who is responsible for repairs; and

 

6.2     REQUESTED a seminar  on the legal status of the Harbour Trust in Annan

7 ANY OTHER BUSINESS DEEMED URGENT BY THE CHAIRMAN DUE TO THE NEED FOR A DECISION
